Hello world.
(National Letting Go of Stuff Day was March 22. For real.)
wow, now that’s what i call letting go. i’ve come to many of the same decisions, with the exception of the husband. it takes a lot of courage and commitment. i wish you well, tari
Good. I recommend keeping the husband if it all possible :). Thanks!
The subject matter bears an uncanny resemblance to my life (except for the husband, house, and dog part). Do you also have picture frames stacked in bags next to a wall that have been sitting there for over a year? Have you thought about writing a parody of “Goodnight Moon” on this topic?
I did! I tried! In the great green house…..so funny! And Goodnight Moon is not actually in that bag – because I can’t bear to part with it – but there are a bunch of other board books in there. And, oh yes to the picture frames….Glad the house, husband and dog part doesn’t apply to you – that part is not so fun.
I love it! ~KL
Thanks KL!
Wonderful!
I love these lines:
“…conversations in my head with that driver who cut me off three years ago.
…conversations in my head…”
(Please forward info. on how you got rid of conversations in your head. I would be most grateful. Just kidding. Well, sort of! : )
~ Lily
To get rid of conversations in the head: take one bottle of fancy shmancy shampoo, a loofah, and a nice steamy bath. Then scrub!!!
(unfortunately, mine tend to come back. So, sigh, I have to take another bath. Or go to a spa….)
I’ll be printing out this list and checking off one by one…so courageous of you and so lovely too.
thank you!
Thanks for including National Letting Go of Stuff Day as part of your awesome list of stuff.
Hey! Thanks for creating (did you create it) National Letting Go of Stuff Day! Can it be bi-annual?
Love, love, love this! Thanks for the motivation. I wonder what I will be letting go of for this special holiday. Of course, because I missed the holiday, I’m gonna have to hang on to it for another 360 days. Damn. 🙂
… I totally understand!
I liked your poem. I did something similar about a quarter century ago except for the house and the dog. You are a courageous lady.
Time to do it again? Thanks!!! Courageous….or craaaaazzzzyyyy…..
Hey!!
Thanks for liking my post! Take care
thanks back at ya!
